Stage 2 Bike Service Package

All bikes that are booked into our workshop receive a Proper Bike Shop 51 Point bike check - free of charge!   This determines exactly what state your bike is in, what needs work, and if there are any parts that need replacing.

Stage 2 Service Package includes:

1. 51 Point Health Check
2. Inflate tyres to recommended pressure
3. Lubricate seatpost and ensure correct torque
4. Strip down headset and overhaul - replace bearings if required (bearings additional)
5. Ensure bars and stem are straight and bolts tightened to correct torque
6. Clean & lubricate transmission - full strip down and degrease is additional £30
7. Install chain, chainrings and cassette if required
8. Bottom Bracket service or installation (bearings additional)
9. Straighten and align rear derailleur hanger
10. Install gear cables if required.
11. Index front and rear derailleur
    
12. Strip both hubs, clean and overhaul, install bearings if required
13. Wheel true front and rear - replace any snapped or damaged spokes
14. Ensure wheels are centered and attached correctly
    
15. Install brake cables if required
16. Centre brakes ensure wheels run freely
17. Set up brakes correctly (brake bleeds additional)
18. Install any parts as per booking (parts not included)
19. Final wipe down of bike and wheels
20. Test ride for function under load
